The great thing about VOIP is that it is mainly centrally managed. It means that for clients, a system can easily be up or down scaled with minimal disruption and cost to the end user. VOIP uses an internet connection – but it works as an ordinary telephone would. The systems carry some of the best functions and facilities that a traditional phone system has – apart from the fact that they are stored centrally.
Our VOIP telephony product is helping our clients save operational costs by removing the expense of ISDN/Copper and on-premise phone system installation and maintenance. Additionally, our solution offers free calls to 01,02 and 03 numbers and UK mobiles with a pooled fair use policy of 2000 minutes for landlines and 2000 minutes separately itemised for mobiles which is an industry leading, best in class offer from our upstream provider, Gamma, that is only available via their accredited partners such as Force36 Limited.
Our phone system deployment requires simply 40Kbps/40Kbps per channel of internet bandwidth meaning that even an ADSL2+ circuit will support a small branch deployment and that’s it, no phone system hardware PBX and, even better, no long lead times for installation. Typically we can get a phone system deployment up and running within a week or so.
Live monitoring via Akixi can be integrated for contact centre deployments allowing for live call statistic reporting and even call board display.
All handsets sit on the same ‘phone system’ regardless of their geographical location, meaning that 3 or 4 digit extension dialling, call transfers and call management is possible between sites and in the event of a local failure of power or broadband an automated DR facility will automatically re-route inbound calls to pre-determined numbers of your choice including mobiles or another site on the system for example.
